Margiela monkeys

Still on vacation but I  just got back from San Diego. At the zoo I saw these monkeys (official breed: kikuyu colobus) that looked like they were wearing little Margiela coats.

Hope everyone's holidays were great. More stuff from my trip coming soon.

cause it's ladies' night

Ah, college. I am a witness of girls about to 'go out' on a day-to-day basis. At the moment I'm seeing lots of little ladies (or should i say not so little ladies. hm)  clad in skin tight, body-con dresses with NO coat or scarf. I guess the reality that it's officially winter has escaped their minds. All this deep thinking kind of reminds me of this post from Hipster Runoff...One of the best to date in my opinion.

have to share this too. it's TOO GOOD not to.

Dear Iris,
I wish you were my grandmother. Then I'd live in your closet. Hug you a lot. and ask you over and over to tell me about your early days as a textiles gal. then I'd hug you some more.

Iris and Simon Doonan!!!!!! I think a post on him will be necessary. If you guys have not seen him as the Cranky Elf you're missing out...more on that later though.
