ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE designers, Peter Jensen on how he broke into the industry: "I didn't sit down and think, 'Oh I want to be a fashion designer'. I liked the technical part of it. There was a fat girl who lived next door and she couldn't really buy clothing anywhere, so I used to make her clothes and then charge her £3 for a top. She just kept on growing."

To be honest the shoes make me a little queasy. and uneasy. and uncomfortable. But really, that is why I love them so. Could you imagine walking in those things?!!!!! ~~~~Props to Gaga~~~~

Sure it's easy to see that these are avant-garde, if not works of art that could be displayed in a museum. But in real life could they really work? The lovely, Debora from Polyvore styles the McQueen shoes impeccably and proves that yes--they can.
